LOUDER

Photo Performance

Each photo performance traces the artist’s ongoing search for voice, expressed through her body as a means of confronting truth. Space, once explored by Jazmín, the artist’s alter ego, is now taken on by the artist herself and unfolds as a stage that amplifies and deepens this exploration.

With a carefully chosen set of props and environments, each series becomes a powerful expression, rich in symbolism and alive with meaning.

Get me out of here!

Jazmín was raised on generations of culinary traditions and excellence. Yet she realizes that the only legacy her grandmothers, aunts, and mother truly left her is their recipes. She feels the weight of their sacrifices and the dreams they left behind. Though she has raised her sons with the same values and traditions, this realization frightens her because she knows her true calling lies beyond the kitchen.

I need a break...

After three decades devoted to raising her sons, Jazmín is confronted with the swift passage of time and finds herself torn between family responsibilities and an emerging need to reclaim her own identity.

Artist Jazmin Sasky is photo performing a series of photos in Oaxaca, exploring the connection with inner child.

I've waited for so long

After decades devoted to motherhood, Jazmín steps into a new phase of life where her inner child reawakens, pulling her back toward play, creativity, and a long-silenced sense of freedom.

In this black and white photo performance series, Jazmin Sasky stages a reunion with her inner child in a Buenos Aires playground. The work reflects on trauma, emotional healing, self-care, and the transformative act of nurturing the inner child through play and artistic embodiment.

I don't want to play alone

After a trauma and health scare in November 2025, Jazmín returns to her childhood playground in Buenos Aires, where adult and child versions of herself meet, and offers the care and love needed to begin healing old wounds.
